Youth Mini-Rally For South Deanery CANCELLED Nazareth—The third in a series of Youth Mini-Rallies scheduled Saturday in Nazareth this Saturday has been cancelled, according to Diocesan Youth Director Oscar Guzman. Guzman added that a Youth Mini-Rally for the South Deanery will be take place later this Spring, with the date to be announced soon. Know Love Serve Retreat At St. Laurence Church Amarillo—The Diocesan Youth Office is offering a Know, Love, Serve Thematic Retreat Saturday, Jan. 31, beginning at 9:30am in the parish hall at St. Laurence Church, 2300 North Spring. The retreat, which is for students in grades six through twelve, is being offered to all youth throughout the Diocese of Amarillo, according to Diocesan Youth Director Oscar Guzman. DCYC 2026 Registration Underway Amarillo—Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God (Isaiah 41:10) is the theme of the annual Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference (DCYC) for youth in grades seven through twelve. The conference is scheduled Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26 at the Amarillo Civic Center, 401 South Buchanan.
Registration is now open for DCYC 2026. Early-bird registration is $55 per person, but to get the early-bird price, registrations must be postmarked by Monday, Feb. 23. The registration fee includes two meals, a t-shirt and gifts.
Regular registration is $65 per person and must be postmarked by Friday, April 3. The fee includes two meals, but no t-shirt and gifts.
For those registering at the door, cost is $75 per person, according to Diocesan Youth Director Oscar Guzman. The registration fee includes two meals.
Registration can be done at the parish level and any additional costs depends on the cost of transportation, lodging and additional meals.
For those planning to go to Wonderland Park on Sunday, April 26, tickets are $24 per person. Guzman said those planning to go to Wonderland Park are welcome to order for family as well, but that Wonderland Park is optional.
