2026 Publication schedule
The mission of this publication is to educate and inform the Church of Amarillo.
The 2026 publication calendar for The West Texas Catholic has been announced, according to editor-in-chief Chris Albracht. There will be 12 issues of the WTC during the calendar year, with publications dated the third Sunday of each month.
The deadline for advertisements, photos, and story suggestions is 10-14 days prior to each issue date. Deadlines and issue dates are subject to change at the discretion of the editor. See the Content and Ad Submissions tab above for more information.

Submitting Content and Advertisements
The West Texas Catholic welcomes your letters, articles, and captioned photos.
Letters must be signed and include your mailing address and telephone number; however, only your name and city will be published. Please keep all letters to 200 words or less.
The deadline for advertisements, photos, and story suggestions is 10-14 days prior to each issue date. See the Publication Schedule and Deadlines tab above for more information. All deadlines are at the discretion of the editor.
Email is the preferred method of receiving information and photos. Correspondence and photos should be sent to [email protected]. Alternatively, content can be mailed to The West Texas Catholic at P.O. BOX 5644, Amarillo, TX 79117-5644. Information can also be faxed to 806-383-8452.
We do not accept photos taken on cell phone cameras; they will not be considered for publication.

The subscription rate for printed copies of The West Texas Catholic is $30 per year. To subscribe, send us a check with your name, address, and parish. Please make checks payable to the Diocese of Amarillo, with "WTC Subscription" in the memo line.
