    Give to Prison Ministry
The Prison Ministry program of the Diocese of Amarillo shares the love and mercy of Christ with those who are incarcerated by providing pastoral care, Sacramental access, and faith formation. Rooted in the Gospel call to serve those in prison, we seek to restore dignity, foster spiritual transformation, and strengthen Catholic faith.

    • Mission

The Prison Ministry of the Diocese of Amarillo brings the Word of God and the Catholic Faith to incarcerated men, offering pastoral care, catechesis, and access to the Sacraments. This mission helps restore dignity, strengthen faith, and guide individuals toward spiritual transformation, including opportunities to receive the Sacraments of Initiation.

    • Faith in Action

Through formation, retreats, and ongoing support, the ministry promotes healing, self-worth, and preparation for reintegration into society. It also provides encouragement and spiritual care to inmates and their families, fostering lasting hope and renewal.
