Authentic Femininity Mini-Retreat Aug. 8-10

Panhandle—The Franciscan Sisters of Christ the Light invite all young ladies in the Diocese of Amarillo between the ages of 18 and 40 to attend and take part in an Authentic Femininity Mini-Retreat Friday, Aug. 8 to Sunday, Aug. 10 in the St. Francis House of Prayer at Sancta Maria Convent at 125 John Paul Circle.
 
“Each mini-retreat has a different topic under the umbrella of Authentic Femininity,” said Franciscan Sister of Christ the Light Sister Mary Michael Huseman. “This time, we will focus on the Ministry and Mystery of Presence. We invite you to join other young ladies exploring the truths of how to live as a Christian woman of God and much more.”
 
Arrival time is 6:00pm on Aug. 8, with the retreat ending after lunch on Aug. 10.
 
“Besides getting to spend time with other young ladies that want to grow in their Faith and learning some beautiful tools and having some prayer experiences, the participants will be able to spend some time with the Franciscan Sisters of Christ the Light,” said Sister Mary Michael.
 
When asked the question what stands out most from an Authentic Femininity Mini-Retreat, these comments were offered by some who attended previous retreats:
